Good morning class.

Deduct 5 stars from rachel and sab, never greet me loud enough.

They wanted me to caption this picture as Youth Camp Commandoes. I have no idea why.

Youth Camp 2007 Let Fall The Shackles was an activity filled youth camp in which the activities would be the most successful aspect of the camp. It got KKMC Youths together and most importantly, people had fun together. Therefore, besides God,the people being an important element of the camp, i must introduce the people in my group, Techno.

It has the coolest name ever because it sounds like Tadmor, a prison somewhere on earth which i think Michael Schofield is trying to break out of in prison break season 7. It also sounds like an interesting lifeform called a tadpole. Moving on, i felt that there were so many strong characters in my group, that i being the group leader was unnecessary!
There were 3 voices n the group. Leonard was the loud voice who flirted with probably every single girl in the camp. There's Liz Fong who is able to command a manly voice deeper than mine at will. I just realised she is partially albino which makes her eyes super brown! I conclude being partially albino makes ur voicebox cranky. There's Joseph Sim who has a daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn stupid voice. Only a daaaaammn stupid person would ever listen to him. Like he's primary 5 and from Raffles Institution. Who can get dumber?! I cannot find any other phrase as apt to describe him.
Moving on to the more sane people... Justin Heah. He is quite emo i will never guess what's on his mind when i wake up at 3am and see him sitting and staring into blank space.Daniel Lee who won best camper! I am proud of him really cos from his sharing of being a raged kid to a super nice person now is really amazing. You probably won't understand how much effort he's putting in just to participate in the games. There's Marie who was super nice to buy us Macs breakfast and was always smiling! She is the walking emoticon lor. She has probably all the facial expressions to emote every emotion. And i do mean emote dramatically. You may want to go youtube to search. But i don't think have.

Therefore u might wanna come visit KKMC to have a look. Lastly, there's Nicole, my fellow schoolmate from TKGS. She was the first one to notice i was from the same school as her! High ^5! Moribus Modestus!

Of all the Theme Talks we had, I found that i was the most attentive during An Afternoon with Jacelyn Tay talkshow. And no i was not captivated by her beauty and all la i was listening to her k. Using my spiritual eyes and ears! Wahahaha. It was just more applicable whatever she was saying...it was kinda surreal not because she was a celebrity and all, but her encounters with God were really supernatural. For someone who has such great disbelief in God to actually encounter Him, let Him reveal Himself and finally accepting Him as a personal Lord and Saviour to actually testify of the goodness of God, it just warms the heart and establishes the fact that God is really really almighty.Another group of people who deserve credit here are the group leaders! Jeremy, Bryan, Rachel and Sab. Jolyn too! I think u guys did great... Firstly for taking up the resposibility to lead a group of 8people! Even the sergeants in army lead groups of 6 only la. Secondly, for being really participative so as to be the role models of the group. I think u guys are great motivators. Jolyn made so many people laugh at her retarded antics.

I also wanna say, don't be disheartened! All of your groups deserve a first prize for the great effort. I'm sure in those 5 days ur groups bonded and u got to know so many younger people. I know TADMOR (my team) won first prize but hey it's really their effort not mine! Sab knows i wasn't enthu at all...haha it was them. It just so happens the older grp leaders got the top 4. But hey take it as a learning experience k? As if God really cares who got first or eighth. ;)

Lastly, we are gonna run youth camp next year! YES our LG. It really is gonna be a good opportunity for us to get to do something together. Unless i've taught an LG who doesn't see any worth in being together and united, please, i urge u all to look forward to it! Don't let me down, you guys must know that together, u all can have a great impact in church. Look forward to running a camp which youths will remember for life. Look forward to serving God while having fun. The end of Youth Camp 2007 is the beginning of an exciting Youth Camp 2008.

I was really surprised that everyone brought their own socks, tho rach's pair was unbearably stinky.
Kristen really good effort in trying to roll the ball...sadly it ended up in the gutters most of the time but good effort! The ball u were rolling was heavier than mine!
Kathlyn u anyhow throw also can strike so many times. Next time i also must anyhow throw.

The verse i left you all last week was this: "and 'love your neighbour as yourself'" Have u done your homework people? hahaha. Please don't take it as homework... Let me reitterate what i said last week...and what you can expect this week.

Last week, i emphasized again my role in class. Me, ur llama, Wally and lihui's role were to walk this Christian walk with each and every one of you. And i din sound like a plea, but it is, to let us walk it with you!

So maybe you haven't got a slightest idea who God is, or felt him in your life. Why do we even need to anyway? Well because we have a known fact, that if we don't accept Christ as Lord, we are rebels. Being comfortable, feeling happy and putting all satisfaction in anything else but Jesus, is rebel like behaviour, simply put it, is SIN. Remember the car running on orange juice analogy? Yes you may feel like cruising 100kmp/h for now, but you will not run far.

Also, remember how our soul is precious? No matter what circumstance we are put in, we must not make decisions that would chip at our soul, or worse, sell our soul to the devil who dangles momentary satisfactions in front of us. This is why we need Church. We need to hear God and snap out of the devil's lures!

That's why we need LG. Why do we need Christ then? This question only YOU can answer! Only YOU know how much struggles u are going thru...and Jesus is this great healer. Read the bible and u will know, when He lived, did he live with the rich? Or the powerful? Or the famous? Rather he lived with prostitutes, tax collectors, fisherman. He wants to Lord over YOUR little life because, take this literally, at surface value, He simply loves you.

I love my new handphone. Haha! I can imagine how much more God wud love me. I hope u guys and gal picked up something that lesson. I am very pleased to see people i least expected raise their hands to accept God. This very expression of humility and needing Jesus, i am very sure is something Jesus desires.

instead we will be watching a video of a YMCA production that i was involved in... the production title is called 'Missing Pieces'... and it depicts 3 ordinary friends who are struggling with life's problems just like you and me...

the production was made a success thanks to God's unending grace and the hard hard hard work of all the crew and cast... so i hope you guys enjoy it and learn from it...

Just need you all to encoureage your youths to take part in TGIGF this coming sat, 7th Apr 2007, from 10 am to 3pm. the venue will be at RI. There will be games, a movie premiere and worship. it will be a great time of fun, activites and learning.

Also inform your members that the girls should only wear dark coloured t-shirts, and either berms or sch shorts. FBTs are not allowed and they are required to wear shoes and socks as well.

Guys should also wear T shirts and not singlets with berms and shoes too.
Bringing a change of clothes will also be advisable too.

Lets continue to pray and encourage your youths to go.

The trouble is that those little sins will inevitably grow larger. Before we know it, we’ll need to do some serious repenting and confessing.

If some little foxes have crept into the backyards and gardens of your spiritual life, the time to deal with them is now. With the help of the Holy Spirit, identify them. Admit your guilt, confess these pesky little practices to God, and get rid of them before they ruin the entire landscape of your life. —David C. Egner

LG 4 Outing!!

hey guys... hopefully i will have more than 2 of you guys turning up this time... haha

anyway this friday LG 4 will be going to sentosa!!!! we'll meet up after lunch at 1 pm and go to the beach...
we can do a number of things...
1. Frisbee
2. Volleyball
3. Swimming
4. Sun Tanning
5. Stoning... Sleeping... Building sandcastles... Burying someone in the sand... etc...

i will bring the frisbee (if any of you wanna bring a frisbee please do too)... and could one of you guys please bring a volleyball cause i dont think i can get one...
also... please bring sun block/sun tan lotion because getting sun burn is not fun at all... other than that would be towels and change and of course your swim wear and yourself...

so after a good fun afternoon in the sun, we will all retire to the comfort of vivocity and have a good meal... followed by a movie at the newest and bestest cinema in singapore!!!! GV Vivo!!!! (applause)... right now i dont know wad show you guys wanna watch (also cause most of you are below NC16!!!)... we could do that, or spend the night shopping... haha...

anyway thats the general plan for the day... changes will probably happen on that day and we'll just play by ear... we'll meet at 1pm at the mrt/bus interchange where you guys can board the shuttle bus to sentosa... please come for this outing all of you... it'll be a great time fun and class bonding... any other queries please sms me @ 98299747

Hey. This is llama in camp! GREETINGS! ALRITE stop complaining about the blogskin!! I really have no time to go and find so if u people have any to contribute, please step forth!! How are u people this week anyway? I just booked out on Sunday and i really was too tired to go for class or service...went for FCBC service in the afternoon instead. But i'm fine thanx!

Yeahh i know the March Hols have started!! But as for many, this one week break is like totally insufficient...prob catch up on abit of rest and it's back to homework and mugging and training and camps for everyone! Wally has organised an outing on 16 March! Think he'll be posting some details real real soon. So do keep a lookout! I certainly encourage u guys to hang out at least once...an out of class setting is much betta sometimes. =D

On my previous lesson, the one on FRIENDS, my points were to:
1) let u all realise that u're not alone in dealing with relationship probs
2) friends have different expectations of one another...give way and try to understand each other!
3) as u all broke up into small groups (for better facilitation) i wanted to let u all know that if there was a place to nurture good christian relationship, it would be in LG! Start small in sharing and very soon, class would be a comfortable place to share
4) Jesus is your Friend. Please talk to Him more often?

Okayy i really have no time...very soon i'd be packing my bag and rushing off to camp. I will try my utmost bestest to find a bright blogskin to cheer u guys up. Meantime, continue tagging and have a great outing this Friday! Amen? x)

PurposePurpose
I'm sure the previous lessons got u guys thinking abit... What purpose do u have in life? Purposes can be right or wrong, good or bad, godly or ungodly. Do i need to know my purpose? Is it really that important? Hmmm then after lessons we go back home and back to school. However, do u feel like if u're sitting at the canteen table alone, it feels kinda weird? Like...everyone's doing something. Queuing up for food, chatting with a friend...and sitting alone NOT doing anything seems weird. For that very instance u might just be displaying purposelessness! Like maybe till u take out your handphone, then it seems like u actually have a purpose-that is to reply your friend. Okay this is just a simple analogy i thought of...but really in the Christian context, to God, if u're not doing anything according to his purpose, u're just sitting alone without anything to do... I think this topic is worth reflecting upon my friends, so yeah take some time to think INDIVIDUALLY, how different situations God put u in, helped u realise your very purpose. Take care!
